BridgeAble’s second initiative was a collaboration with the IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Alumni Association where we moderated a panel discussion among three outstanding social entrepreneurs: Jack Sim of the World Toilet Association, Sourabh Sharma of Milaap and Veronica Gamez of Aidha. The diversity and depth of each entrepreneur’s work was inspiring. Each touched on their inspiration in getting started, challenges they have faced and success stories resulting from their work.
The audience at the Standard Chartered conference room gathered that morning comprised mainly of IIT alumni. Most of these attendees are senior executives in the financial/ commercial sector in Singapore as well as successful entrepreneurs including financial entrepreneurs.
